“Christmas Tree Elegance” - a Winter Wonderland display of Christmas trees that have been specially adorned by leading designers with incredible ornaments and unique toches that only a designer can do to make a Tree become enchanted and a work of Art. Each tree includes lavious gifts ranging from jewelry to outragious trips which volunteers have gotten donated.

Each Designer has picked a theme and these trees will be displayed at Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club during HolidayFest on December 4th-5th and then auctioned to the highest bidder at the 3rd Annual St. Nicholas Ball on Saturday, Dec. 5th. Proceeds from this auction will benefit The Hendersonville Optimist Club.

The designers have unique and special backgrounds and have donated all of the items on their tree as well as additional treasures to enhance the value.

The Trees are generously donated by Ultimate Party in Hendersonville and additional gifts from various donors.

Gifts under each Tree will be listed in the Ball's evening program under the Donor Thank yous.

The Designers:
 
Four Designers will be showcased at this year's 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Elegance at Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club on December 4th and 5th. Trees will donated by Ultimate Party of Hendersonville and the Designers will donate the ornaments and designs of the Trees. Optimist Club committee members will be bringing in embellishments such as trips, jewelry and tickets to increase the value of the Trees. At the 3rd Annual St. Nicholas Ball, these Designer Trees will be auctioned and the winning bidder will pick his/her Tree the next day. Trees are valued at $1500.00.

The Creatives Group

The Creatives Group is Nossi College of Arts Ad Club. Students from all majors Videography, Illustration, Photography and Graphic Design come together to volunteer within our community by applying their artistic skills. Each student takes great pride and care to make a positive difference through artistic expression.

Sheryl Spencer

Sheryl Spencer is a Nashville, TN native whose unique artistic abilities became apparent before she was able to write her own name. She soon became a top art student at St. Cecilia Academy with a special interest in cartoon pop art, contributing cartoons locally and winning art contests/awards during her private school years. By the age of 16, she won a scholarship to Tennessee's Governor School of the Visual Arts.

After graduating from Belmont University with a double-BA in Studio Art and Education, Sheryl continued sharing her creative talents as a licensed art teacher in Metro Nashville Public Schools and currently teaches while still managing to fulfill her artistic ambitions in her spare time.

Sheryl has shown and sold her artwork throughout Nashville, including her alma maters, Watkins Film School, Vanderbilt University Club, Epiphany, TPAC, and the Country Music Hall of Fame. She has also contributed art to such publications as La Crucero and The Nashville Banner, and has been a featured artist in Nashville’s Gibson Guitar Town Project, Canada’s Art for Life auctions, and The Birdhouse Thing. She is also a regular fixture of Nashville's growing art scene and often volunteers her time within various local galleries and artist groups.

Along with her fine artwork, Sheryl also works as a caricature artist at various Nashville private parties and events, her past jobs having taken her to such popular events as Fan Fair, the Southern Women’s Show, Zootopia, plus the annual Tomato Festival and Turnip Green Festival.

Whether you need a caricature artist for your next party or event or need a fine artist/cartoonist to offer her creative services or to help offer a unique gift or edition to your home/office decor, Sheryl Spencer is most definitely the artist you need!

   
Manuel & Morelia Cuevas
 
Bio: Known as the "King of Cowboy Couture," Manuel is a world-renowned designer for rock and country stars such as the Beatles, Johnny Cash, the Grateful Dead, and Mick Jagger.  His creations are truly a work of art and can be found in museums nationwide, including Metropolitan, the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and even the Smithsonian. Locally, in Nashville, you can find his works on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame.  Morelia is an entertainer and broadcast professional, and founder of Rhinestone Cure - a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and finding a cure for diabetes.
