Experience the charm of the City by the Lake during Hendersonville’s 3rd Annual HolidayFest, one of the nation's newest community-based holiday celebrations.
HolidayFest is an annual festival that brings together the entire community – its people, businesses, government, the arts, and service organizations - to celebrate the spirit of the season and to benefit local charities. Officially launched in 2007 by community volunteers Lynda Evjen, Steve Luther and Janna von Kessel, HolidayFest builds on 26 years of the Hendersonville Christmas Parade in establishing this new tradition.
Most of the events are held the first weekend of December, and Hendersonville will play host to thousands of visitors at this year's festival. The Mayor of Hendersonville declares HolidayFest2009 from November 1st to December 6th and these many visitors will enjoy an abundance of entertainment, shops, restaurants, light displays, and holiday cheer during the entire HOLIDAYFEST season!
